Transvaginal ( TVS)
- Ultrasound sonography that examines the vaginal organ within the pelvic area is known as Transvaginal USG.
- It helps to examine and study the fallopian tubes, ovaries, and uterus, properly.
- In general, it is done in females when females notice abnormalities physically like tumors, cysts, fibroids, etc.
- It is conducted for a pregnant lady in the first trimester only.
- It takes about 45–60 minutes to perform the same.
